How wavreel works

Turn your audio into a finished video in 5 simple steps. No video editing experience required — if you can upload a photo to Facebook, you can use wavreel.

  1. 🎤

Step 1: Get your audio file

You need a recording of someone speaking — that's it. It could be your own voice, a podcast clip, or a speech. Most common file types work: MP3, WAV, M4A, and more.

  2. ⬆️

    Step 2: Upload your audio

Go to the Dashboard and drag your audio file into the big upload box — or click it to browse your files. wavreel starts working the moment you drop the file in.

  3. 🤖

Step 3: wavreel builds your video

This is the magic part. wavreel listens to what's being said, breaks it into short scenes, and finds matching video clips or photos for each one. It usually takes about 30–60 seconds.

  4. ✏️

Step 4: Review and tweak (optional)

You'll see a preview of your video. If you don't like a photo or video clip, click on it to swap it for something different. Everything else — timing, captions, music — is handled automatically.

  5. ⬇️

    Step 5: Download your video

Click "Render Video" and then "Download". You get a proper MP4 file you can upload anywhere — YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or send to a friend.
